Academic Initiatives for Mentoring Student Transfer Resources for Advancing the College Experience
T.R.A.C.E.

Assistance in the TRACE program

TRACE supports the AIMS department's mission of commitment to provide quality academic support services to increase the retention and graduation of underrepresented students at UNC Charlotte.

The TRACE program assists all transfer students, particularly those from traditionally underrepresented populations in making a smooth transition from community colleges and other universities to attending college at UNC Charlotte. Program staff acts as advocates for participants by providing academic support and identifying campus resources.  The TRACE program provides the following programs and services to aid in the matriculation of transfer students:

  • Orientation

  • Retention Services

  • Career Advisement

  • Academic Advising

  • Learning Assistance

All of these services are offered jointly through ongoing collaboration with other campus offices and resources.  If you would like to be considered for the TRACE program, please read the letter and click on the TRACE member profile.

For additional information on the TRACE Program, contact Kristen Withers at 704-687-4386.
